There are variety of mobile apps available to support people who have had a stroke and aid their rehabilitation. As there are so many apps, we have not been able to review all those available. We have instead identified independent organisations that have reviewed suitable apps in this space.

This is an NHS information database that has reviews of apps for people with stroke or brain injury. Apps on the website have undergone rigorous review by health professionals and patients, and have the Mytherappy seal of Approval. There are different categories of apps to help with things like:

This website has links to a variety of apps and software to help people with different forms of aphasia communicate. Users can search for apps to help them things like talking, spelling & writing, reading, listening, following instructions, numbers & money, time concepts, word meanings/categories and conversation rules.      Almost every page now has a video explaining how to use the page for people who may have difficulty reading the text.
