Make lunch a charitable activity

Auckland woman Lisa King and award-winning chef Michael Meredith are helping hungry children by asking people to buy their lunch online.

One in four Kiwi kids live in poverty and go without lunch every day. But if you order your lunch from a lunch will also be sent to a child in need.

Eat My Lunch works closely with charity KidsCan to find children in poverty and feed them.

“We’re so passionate about this initiative that we’re starting by making the lunches in our home kitchen so, not only are you doing some good, you’re also guaranteed a healthy fresh lunch,” Lisa and Michael say on their website.

Buying a healthy lunch for yourself and someone in need is not only good for your body, it’s also good for your mind – giving is great for your wellbeing.
