Health Navigator is on an epic little mission to create an online community where health professionals feel connected to each other and can share the health and wellbeing messages they think New Zealanders need to hear.
Increasingly becoming known as the place New Zealanders come for trusted online health information, Health Navigator Charitable Trust is offering useful online space on its free, national website.
Think of the space as a mini social media platform designed especially for New Zealand health professionals. It is a place where you can share articles, blogs, reviews, videos or images, learn from others doing the same, and feel a real sense of connection and community.
It’s about extending the reach of your health messages, keeping them consistent throughout the country, exchanging ideas, starting conversations, keeping up-to-date and making connections. Sounds great, right?
How will it work?
Say you specialise in a particular health area and want to share your expertise. You could write a blog or health topic about it, or you may have a video or suite of healthy recipes you have developed to improve a certain health condition. It’s great to have these on your own site, but imagine if we could get these messages out to a much broader audience?
This is what we’re about. We’re offering you space on our website to share your ideas and knowledge. What’s more, we’ll link back to your website or clinic, and, if you become a regular contributor, we’ll add a profile of you (or your organisation).
We also have video making capability – so if you have an idea for a snappy health topic video, that doesn’t require a Game of Thrones-sized set or cast, do let us know. You may even be a “great talent” that we could feature in a video (Caution: we will be the final arbiters of that!)
What's in it for us? You get to help us achieve our mission of providing New Zealanders with a suite of trusted online health resources that increase their confidence, skills, independence and wellbeing, and support shared decision making between them and their healthcare providers.
How do I get involved?
To get on board, please fill in the form below or email email@example.com and tell us about your blog idea, an article you’d like us to feature, a health topic you’d like to write or review, or whatever great idea you have! We’ll take a look and, if we like it, we’ll make contact.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
