What does the app do?
The Monitor Your Weight app enables the user to set weight goals and monitor the weight of 1 or many people. The app suggests an ideal weight and recommends the amount of time needed to reach that target. You have the option to change the suggested targets based on your own goals. It also has a function to calculate BMI (Body Mass Index), percentage body fat, total weight loss, remaining amount of weight to be lost, average daily and weekly weight loss and overall progress.
Additional features include adding notes to weight entry, and the ability to export data and integrate with Fitbit Aria, Garmin, WiT and Google Fit. There is the option to create multiple profiles and personalise measures (metric or imperial). A purchased add-on allows for synchronisation of data onto the server so data is not lost. For a more detailed description of the app, see Google Play or iTunes and for a detailed review, see Reviews.
✔ The app has clear graphs to see progress towards goals.
✘ The app provides a recording only function. There are no other functions such as education etc.
