There are lots of different ways to cut down on alcohol, alcohol use apps can provide different strategies to help you to reduce how much you drink.

  • Using features like diary functions, users can track their drinking habits over a time period (eg, in the past 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days). By helping you keep track of the volume of alcohol you drink and how often, alcohol use apps can help you lower your alcohol intake. Some apps can estimate your blood alcohol content based on the drinks people log.
  • Some apps enable users to set personal goals to stop or cut back on their drinking and to build skills to manage their urges.
  • Apps with a money conversion feature can show you the amount of money you’ve saved by not drinking.

There are several apps that aim to help you stay sober. These apps offer different features, eg, a virtual community, coaching, and milestone trackers. Some apps may be more suitable for certain alcohol support groups and offer literature and meditations.
