Who should attend
Is this course for me?
Anyone who lives with a long-term health condition will benefit from attending this course and bring a family member or friend with you. They will find it very useful too!
For example, if you have any of the following conditions, you will find the course so worthwhile and rewarding:
- arthritis, gout or SLE
- diabetes,
- heart disease,
- cancer,
- respiratory or lung problems such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema, COPD or asthma,
- depression, anxiety disorders, social phobia or panic problems
- chronic pain, (up to 80% suffer from chronic back, neck or shoulder pain at some stage)
- endometriosis,
- Multiple sclerosis
- bowel problems such as reflux, chrohns disease or ulcerative colitis
- haemophilia
- functional syndromes such as IBS and fibromyalgia
- and many more.
To find out if this course is right for you, ask your doctor for a referral (not all doctors are aware of this course yet) or ring your local facilitator to find out.
